Love Notes – Free Valentines Day Printable

I got this idea for a Valentines Day Printable from Visual Heart to do 52 things I love about you which I did for my husbands birthday a few years ago. IMG_0670I gathered reasons why I loved him as well as emailed his family members, talked to friends and asked our kids why they love him. It was an great gift so as I was remembering it I thought it would be fun to do something kind of like that but for Valentines Day and this is what I came up with.

52-things-i-love-about-you-1

I made up these 28 reasons why I love you cards and turned it into a fun Valentines Day Printable so anyone can use it and share the love. There is one card for each day and I thought it would be a fun to leave a note each day with different reason why I love him (or 29 for leap days).

You can:

  • Leave them in a lunch box
  • Put them under their pillow
  • Stick them on a mirror for them to see first thing in the morning
  • Make a poster to put them on the wall and see every day
  • Leave at their desk

You get the idea, just somewhere where they will see it everyday. I was also thinking it might be fun at the end to collect them and make a little book for them to keep and remind them how loved they are throughout the year.

I also thought this would be a fun thing to give not just to a signigfigant other but also:

  • Your kids
  • A best friend
  • A cowoker
  • Pretty much anyone

I’ve made it so that this can be used on leap years as well and so there is a 29th card as well as matching main one.

Then the last page is blank so it can be filled in if you want to add something else.

  1. This is such a lovely idea. Not just for Valentine’s Day but for every day! I once made a book for my hubby with reasons why I love him. I gave it to him for his 21st birthday. We were still dating that time. Good memories. Thank you for sharing this. 🙂

    • I’m glad you like it! I did one for my husband with a deck of cards that I had everyone we know write on but that was a while ago and I wanted to do one for just him and then for my kiddos. Those kind of gifts are my favorite. Thank you so much for stopping by!
